Let's Build Something Together
All altruistic activity should be commended but here at how to save tomorrow we are focused on the ripple effect of activities that make bigger impact then their directly influencing. These organizations are the lynch pins to global change. We look at organizations with accountability and transparency with an aim to bring equality and sustainability. Organizations that focus on the roots of issues not their symptoms are able to make change that effect all aspects of the issue with positive externalities toward other issues. So let’s look at an example if a community suffers from underfunded schools and less economic opportunities it stands to reason there is a higher dropout rate and crime rate. Of course crime and higher dropout rates need to be addressed but they may grow exponentially causing for more drastic measures. However, if the focus was put on the underfunded schools and local economy the issue of crime and dropouts would be a positive externality. Sometimes solutions are clear for example the hole in the ozone layer. Scientist discovered an ingredient in aerosol CDC was having a huge effect on the ozone layer. This message rang load and clear across the globe and governments, corporations and communities worked together and the problem was quickly taken care of. Sometimes a solution is not as clear so taking a multipronged approach allows for multiple approaches to work together to achieve a higher result then sitting back and working out the perfect solution as the issues continue to persist. As new solutions continue to present themselves we can always realign our efforts to achieving the best outcome with the least effort.
